puzzling log entries

I am getting hundreds of the following in my logs and do not know what is 
generating them:
[4298058.070000] atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated set 2, code 0xaa on 
isa0060/serio0).

What gives?  Never seen that but a time or two in previous distros I used.  
This one has two or three dozen in a very short period of time, and they keep 
repeating at irregular intervals.
