KMyMoney in Edgy KDE 3.5.5

Has anyone here had any success in properly installing KMyMoney in Edgy so 
that all of the OFX features work correctly?  If you had, I suspect that you 
also needed to compile the package from the source....  

A growing number of folks (including me) would like a HowTo on the subject as 
it seems that not all of the widgets for KMyMoney got compiled for the Edgy 
distribution that were available in Dapper.
