I understand...English is very difficult (whether American or British).
some even say it´s an ugly language, but there I have to disagree...
I mean...Shakespeare, Donne, Wordsworth, TS Eliot...many other writers...
English is a beautiful, and very complex language...
Now, many say French is the sexiest language...I do like French, c´est
magnifique,
le français, mais, la langue de l´amour? je crois que non...
Those who insist it is the sexiest, just haven´t heard a Brasileira
speaking Portuguese
(Não tem mulher mais sexy no mundo do que uma brasileira, não).
Of course, Spanish is spoken all over the world, too, and even 10% of
the US population speak it.
when my wife first came to the US (from Brazil, of course) she first
learned Spanish, because it was
so much easier to learn than English, and in these large metropolitan
areas of Boston and NYC,
you can get by just fine with just Spanish...(Yes, she does speak
English, now, too, but she HATES it!
which is why we speak portugues at home. We spoke Spanish, though,
until I began to learn portuguese).
And Spanish, too, is a beaufitul language.
Y nadie puede negar que las latinas son muy guapas, también...
Basta...enough off-topic babbling on my part...Desculpa...
