question on dual monitors?

Which video card do you have?

I have an ATI and installed the fglrx driver and the fglrx control
utility. With the fglrx driver it worked automatically without doing
anything to xorg. The machine is running Dapper. It did it using Breezy
too.

In Breezy I could use the control program to switch between clone and
extended desktop modes. I updated the Driver to a compiled one and the
control program broke. I can still use clone mode just by booting up
with the second monitor plugged in and turned on, that allows me to use
it on a projector at meetings. (nobody's commented on the wobbly windows
yet :)
