Agreed, but it hasn't happened before, and I have been using [K]Ubuntu since 
Warty.  Kubuntu already dumped Dapper with the AmaroK updates -- not a 
business app, but one which Kubuntu was regularly updating until Edgy was 
released.

My upgrade to Dapper was disastrous.  I gave up a stable Breezy install for 
one where I can't get hal to work.  But I had to do it if I wanted to upgrade 
my apps to versions with fewer bugs.
