k3b permissions error

For what it's worth, on my old computer I just could not run k3b. I got some 
strange error messages but basically it would just hang up, freexe completely 
and do no work at all until I happened to replace the CD-ROM burner with a 
newer DVD - rom burner....then everything worked fine.

I even reported this as a bug but the replacing of the old CDROM burner took 
place before we were able to trap the bug...it was something kdeish.....
