Nice.  It is working great for me too and Portland isn't too far from me. 
Do you have a mirror for security.ubuntu.com also?


Here's another thing: I originally installed Edgy (6.10RC).  It took a while
before I noticed, but all the entries in the sources.list referred to
dapper.  In addition to switching to the mirror, I also changed dapper to
edgy.  I now have 762 upgradable packages.  Have people found it safe to
execute such a large upgrade?  If I copy /usr and /etc to a spare
partition, will I get back to where I started if I copy them back after an
unsuccessful attempt to upgrade?
