Oversized auxiliary file systems in Dapper; why?

	Thank you for your informative answer. I'm glad to know that the 248 MB 
figure is the upper bound to fislesystem size, not acual usage! A few hundred 
actual KBs make much more sense.

	I think I'll not mess with the memory file systems then . . .
