kde apps missing?

Install kappfinder and run it. It should find most of your missing apps.
I say it should because for some strange reason it doesn't find all of them and sometimes a reboot is needed for them to show up in the menus.
I do also have gnome-desktop installed and oddly enough using the equivalent command in gnome (update-menus in the command line) finds both gnome and kde new apps.
