Yes! Thank you so much.

It seems like there should be some configuration file that could be
edited so that this command would be unnecessary. I wonder if anyone
has any idea what line in what file should be edited to make this step
unnecessary? If no one knows how to do this, I'll just create a
two-line script which executes this command silently and then executes
"su".

On to the next problem :-)
