Orinocco Gold works right out of the box, because orinoco drivers are in 
the kernel.  It's kind of expensive, I guess, but it doesn't require the 
hassel with modules.

My real problems began when I wanted a pci card for the desktop!  LOL. 
But the laptop was easy.
