Kubuntu for Windows users - alternate install

Are there instructions for a Windows user to install Kubuntu, using the 
alternate CD, so that Kubuntu co-exists with Windows?

The obvious hurdles are:

- Creating a partition, or resizing Windows to make room (which would 
also require a reliable backup first).

- GRUB installed to /dev/hda. GRUB should be able to boot Windows, so 
this should work okay in the current install, but I haven't tried it.


I don't suppose there are install scripts which help with this yet?
