Kontact configuration problems

I am having a couple of problems with Kontact (which I have to say is
vastly improved since the last time I tried the program, about a year
ago).

1. In the Summary view, clicking on News produces a box that says:
  Cannot load part for News
  Library files for libknodepart.la not found in paths
  A similar error happens when I click "Synchronization", although I
don't really care about that one.

2. There used to be a weather plug-in for Kontact, and the help here:
  http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdepim/kontact/summary-view-config.html
implies that there still is. But it doesn't seem to be part of
Kubuntu. Does anyone know where I can get the weather plug-in?
