Kubuntu installation problems

After booting from the live CD, but before starting the install, use System 
Settings > Network to verify the correct set up your network, then run the 
command "sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list" and uncomment the lines listing the 
various deb repositories, at least those that have "dapper main" 
and "dapper-updates main" in them.
