Open Office Spell Check

Hi all,
      I am using Kubuntu 6.06. I have just installed it. But when I creating
a document via Open Office Writer it will got indicate the spelling mistakes
although it has been enabled the spell check option. Please consider me as
newbie to Kubuntu and give a solution.
