OOo doesn't see KDE printers

Actually what ubuntu has done is create pseudo print commands that will work no matter what desktop is running. If you want to have kprinter show up in Firefox, Acrobat, Mozilla, OOo, and the like just enter 
"kprinter" in the print dialog box in those programs.
