Connecting to company network

You can edit the network file by hand, (it's actually
/etc/network/interfaces)
But I would suggest that you go it in the GUI. Go to "System Settings"
in the Kmenu,
then chick on "Network Settings", click on administer mode and set it up
in there.

The network should be restarted automatically, but if not then just run
the command " sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart"
