I'm coming into this thread late, and don't have any other prior
responses/info at hand, so I ask forgiveness in advance if I'm barking up
the wrong tree or touching on ground already covered.
But ... in my case, I have a triple-boot XP/Mandriva/Ubuntu system. LILO
is my boot manager, but it was set up via Mandriva (my first Linux distro
on here), not Ubuntu, and I've not changed it other than adding Ubuntu
(well, Kubuntu) into the mix. When I boot into Mandriva and KDE, I get
the reboot menu options; when I boot Ubuntu, I /don't/ get those menu
options upon reboot. Perhaps your situation is similar?
