kde 3.5.4 upgrade?

Not sure if this will help, but what I did to upgrade this today was leave the 
3.5.3 repo in /etc/apt/sources.list and added the 3.5.4 right below it. I 
upgraded and have not had ANY issues as you all are having... Everything is 
as normal as it should be; plus all the bug fixes to boot :)
