hard disk stop with Dapper

Hi all,

I'm Walter and I'm writing from Italy.
I was very happy of my Breezy ubuntu/kubuntu release.
Yesterday for my job I've to upgrade my distribution to Dapper beta release
Now I've a problem:
with breezy the led of my hard disk disk was ever switch on, and my hard disk 
worked always.
With dapper my hard disk doesn't work ever and this is good.
But when the hard disk works I obtain a stop (3-4 seconds).
I hope you can understand my problem and what I'm explainng.
Have anything people similar problem?

Toshiba satellite m70-167
centrino 1.7 gHz
1 gb di ram
Hard disk SATA 100gb
