The sysadmin request to recreate his account was not answered, it now
has been.

He set it up on his server yes. I've heard that amu asked Canonical
to host the site but I've not seen that request from him and I've no
idea where he sent it. Canonical hosts lots of community sites for
Ubuntu and Kubuntu and I'm sure they'd be happy to host the kubuntu.de
site too.

I've not heard anything from anyone about having to pay for a Kubuntu
stall at linuxtag, as far as I know that's not the case.

Because its a Kubuntu site and I'm very glad it is (was) there so I'm
happy to link to it.

What box sales? The linuxshop.de site is run by amu and he keeps any
profits (although as far as I know it doesn't make any money).
