As it seems konqi does not recognize the settings in ~/.bash_profile,
/etc/profile or /etc/login.defs.

I tried it in Gnome. Everytime when i changed one vallue i logout and
- -in to make shure all ENV-variables get read and activated.

If someone can confirm that (maybe you try it direct in KDE) then we can
report a new bug.

Just a side note:
This is only true, when you create a new file directly within knoqi.
During coping the owner-values don´t get changed (if it is set so s.th.
different).
