Flight 6 Update Pbm

[C Hamel]

1.  Fresh install, Flight 6 from d/l ISO
2.  First boot, kdesktop crashed; executed CTRL-ALT-BKSP & the desktop loaded 
normally & continues to do so.
3.  Installed some apps I need from url...

4. Executed 'apt-get dist-upgrade' & got the following post-installation:
	Errors were encountered while processing:
 	kubuntu-docs
 	kubuntu-desktop
	E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
5.  All subsequent additions --dar, dar-static, avidemux-- end w/the same 
error.

WTH is going on, here??  Anyone know?
