aptitude Update Crashes Net on Flight 4

After a fresh install of Flight 4 of Breezy 5.10, I have added the kubuntu 
apt-source for KDE 3.5.2.  Following an aptitude update then upgrade, my 
internet access crashes.

I have installed, crashed, and reinstalled Kubuntu 5.10.4 three times this 
weekend!  How can I update to KDE 3.5.2???

The upgrading hits a problem when the package 'avahi-daemon' is reached.  
Perhaps this helps.
