Beginning to think you can't install ANYTHING into
Kubuntu at the moment... I have all of these unpacked
files sitting on the drive - Tux Racer, Mozilla - you
know, the important stuff- and none of them seem to
actually want to install anything into the system...
I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong... do I need
to install gnome into the systgem and then learn some
command-line language to get this stuff to work? Is
there a book I could pick up at the bookstore that
could help me with this? Kubuntu runs pretty smooth
though - I haven't enjoyed such smooth insecure
surfing since the days of my 40 mhz Mac and Netscape
Gold v. 3.0.4....
Albert.
