Server GUI?

Hi, I just installed ubuntu. I had the option to install a server or a
desktop, since I want to make a webserver I decided to install a server
installation. My question is: is there a GUI interface for a server
installation? or is just for a desktop?
Also, I am new at configuring a webserver, can somebody direct me to some
instructions on how to do it?
