Incorrect mount names for /media in breezy (kubuntu)

I recently compiled a custom kernel using source from the breezy repositoy.
However, when I insert my usb-stick or portable usb hardrive they now show
up as /media/music, /media/misc etc.. And Konquerer these volumes (in the
"Storage Media" section) to media:/sda1 and media:/sdb1 and so. Thus, no
files shows up when I try to browse the folders. Before I switched kernel
these drives would be mounted as i.e. /media/sda1. Is a config error with
the kernel or something else?
