Yes, it is, it was on Gentoo and it is on Kubuntu. I imagine that it is
because it has an Atheros chipset.
Making the long story short, it seems the madwifi drivers that come with
Kubuntu on the linux-restricted-modules doesn't work with my card. I
installed madwifi drivers from cvs and it worked. Maybe I should fill a bug
report.

It takes 15 and a brain (to at least imagine that it might be breakable, and
search for it on google). I know people that are somewhat knowloged on
computers and often uses other people's access point and that doesn't know
that is breakable. That same people also like to make spam. By using wep I
avoid getting my AP used by them.

ifup ath0 showed me more info, I couldn't get anything on the logs, anyway, I
solved it and it was, probably, outdated drivers.
