find tool

I've got a bit of a puzzle here. I have two boxes running kubuntu breezy
and on one of them (iBook) the konqueror tools menu includes the "find
files" tool and on the other (x86 desktop) it doesn't. kfind is
installed on both boxes and the same packages that depend on kfind are
installed. The find tool is available in the toolbar customizations on
both boxes, but I can't see any way to get it into the "Tools" menu on
the desktop box -- anybody know what's going on here?
FWIW -- both boxes were initially installed as Hoary and then upgraded
after the Breezy release.
TIA
James
