Webcam

When I installed Ver. 3.4 it did not recognize my web cam. I don't seem tp be 
able to find the list of devices (camera/printer/scanner) as I could in 
earlier versions. How can I find this and install it. It was working in 
Ubuntu with Gnome Messanger. Thank you.
