kontact not reminding me of my duties

Hi! 
I am concerned that I get no alarms using korganizer. I have attached
a screenie of how an appointment looks like. Even though the reminder
box is ticked, and the alarm daemon is running, and enabled to notify
me of things, it doesn't. Am I missing something?
