MOL

It was suggested to me that I post my question here on this list instead
of the one it was posted to, so here goes.

I am using Ubuntu Hoary (5.04) and am tryring to get MOL working on the
new kernel that I just installed. I compiled the upstream 2.6.12-rc4
kernel and am currently using that, although now MOL won't work. I
remember the procedure I had to go through, (since it was only the day
before yesterday) and that consisted of downloading all the MOL packages
including the kernel module, and then downloading the kernel headers
from the kernel I was running (2.6.10-5-powerpc), in order to compile
the MOL kernel module. I did all of that and installed it, yet MOL
still didn't work. I manually copied the /usr/src/modules/mol
directory to the /lib/modules/2.6.10-5-powerpc directory and that did
the trick.
Now that I am using 2.6.12-rc4 though, I can't run MOL. I would
recompile the kernel module, but I do not know where/what files make up
the kernel-headers, and where to put them. I tried simply copying the
mol directory from 2.6.10-5-powerpc to 2.6.12-rc4 but that didn't work.
Does MOL have some kind of rc file somewhere that tells it where to look
for the kernel module, that could be "hardwired" to the new directory,
or the old one for that matter?
