Printer help needed

Well, I tried it and what I get is the error message:
"No such file or directory."
So I did a Find (K) for "lp0" which reports it under
/dev and it is reported as "inaccessible"
Looks to me like it has not been installed properly.

So is there anything like kudzu (Red Hat and Fedora) in Ubuntu that I could
use to configure the printer?
Thanks again.
Frank
