Printer help needed

I had the same problem, and I found that the default permissions on the 
printer needed to be changed every time I boot. I need to do a 
`chmod o=rw /dev/usb/lp0` before I can get any output.

I'm sure that there is a better way to fix this, but I just added the above 
command to a startup script which works fine (if the printer is present at 
boot).
