USB flash drive

Hi Sara.

Did you install extra packages beyond the CD?

I installed quite a few from restricted and unvierse, which installed quite
a few KDE packages as dependencies, & had two big changes (that I noticed,
could be others). Firstly my KDE config was screwed up; had to delete
the .kde dir in my home dir & restart KDE before I got a panel & menus
etc. Along with that the panel icons etc. had changed to more default
stuff.

And I had the same problem as you; no more USB stick. Seems with what I
did some KDE components were changed for the worse. Only thing is I
installed a lot of stuff so don't know what package affects mounting of
the USB stick in KDE.

I'm still digging, though don't have a lot of time to mess with it.
