DNS servers after re-boot

Hi!
When I installed kubuntu, I wasn't plugged to my work network, so I
had to configure it a later stage. I don't know what's best to do
this, but I first tried the network configuration in KDE's control
panel, but This didn't work properly (my entry for the gateway didn't
go into /etc/network/interfaces. I think I sent a post yesterday, but
never saw it come through). I edited the file manually, and it worked
fine.
When I got home (wifi network), I connected to the internet, and when
I came back in today, the wifi set-up had cleared my /etc/resolv.conf
(it had overwritten it with my wifi router's DNS server address). Can
I force the /etc/resolv.conf to be rewritten whenever eth0(lan
interface) is brought up?
Many thanks!
Jose
