In order to mount any drive, like hard disk, dvd or pendrive you have
to add an entry in the /etc/fstab and create a new folder to mount it.
I'm not using a live versiĆ³n but my kubuntu mounts perfectly my
drives, camera and pendrive. Ask for more information if you want.
