Problem with new repository

Hi, I was trying to add new repository as according to the following web 
page http://kubuntu.pastebin.com/303802. But I got error message when I 
start up the Synaptic.

Error message:

W: Couldn't stat source package list http://archive.ubuntu.com 
hoary/universe Packages 
(/var/lib/apt/lists/archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_hoary_universe_binary-powerpc_Packages) 
- stat (2 No such file or directory)

Any idea why it does not work?
