Alsaconf issues & KOffice 1.4

I know that this has probably been asked before so please forgive me.  I 
currently have Kubuntu v5.0.4 installed.  I've already 'apt-dist-upgrade' the 
os as well.  I have a Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit 5.1/6.1/7.1 sound card 
(which should use the emu10k1 driver).  I have Alsa-base upto the latest 
release.  My problem is I cannot find alsaconf.  I can find alsamixer and 
alsactl but cannot seem to find alsaconf.

Can some please point me in the direction of where it is located or where it 
can be downloaded.

KOffice 1.4 - Has it be packaged for Kubuntu yet?  If so, where can I get it 
from?
