Kexi --> relocation error: /usr/lib/libkeximain.so.0

I'm running Kubuntu 5.04 with KOffice installed. When I try to run 
Kexi from the desktop, it stalls and dumps back to the Desktop once I 
try to create a new database from the dialog box. From a term window, 
this is what I get:

pmbuc at pmbent1:~$ kexi
kexi: relocation error: /usr/lib/libkeximain.so.0: undefined symbol: 
_ZN13KDockSplitter24setSeparatorPosInPercentEi

Any help on this? Pointers to solutions?
