can't install kubuntu

so the installation is successful and the system boots up, do i get this right? sounds like there's a problem with your xserver.

what grafics card do you use and what driver is listet in /etc/X11/xorg.conf? you can find this in section "Device". After fresh installation there should be "vga" normally.
