I have a Compaq Presario laptop with the AMD-64. I installed the 64-bit version of Kubuntu and everything is fine except that I can only use the touch-pad rather than my preference of a USB mouse. I've tried a Logitech Optical mouse and also a wireless USB Optical mouse. Neither are detected. How do I get the system to recognize the mouse?
