Open Office 1.9.118 Install Problem

If this is not the right list  for this question I apologize. I have installed 
Open Office. When I do the next step,(install desktop integration) it starts 
the install and then :
* Updating MIME database in /usr/share/mime...
***
Setting up openofficeorg-debian-menus (1.9.118) ...
***
* Updating MIME database in /usr/share/mime...
***
Then it returns to root. Can anyone help?
