Stupid newbie question :)

Both Kweather and Kmoon are kicker applets. This means that when running they appear inside the panel (usually at the bottom of the screen. To make them appear, right click in an area of the panel and choose the "Add to Panel" option. (Alternatively, you can right click the KDE Menu symbol and choose "Panel Menu"then "Add to Panel"). Next choose "Applet". Kmoon should now be listed in the next menu as "Moon Phase Display", while Kweather is listed as "Weather Report".

Once loaded into the panel you can right click on each of these to configure.

For some unknown reason I always have problems initially with Kweather, in that after configuring any changes, they do not seem to take effect until I restart the applet (Usually by removing it from the panel then adding it back).
