Missing Shutdown and Reboot on Kubuntu. Installed from ubuntu.

Thanks, but I tried that.

I'm really looking for something not so obvious.  I have been following 
several threads on this issue.    I do appreciate the help.

I seem to be the only one who can't get his shutdown/reboot in kde.  (I 
had gnome - ubuntu installed first).

Does anyone know where the config file is for kdm that tells kdm which 
options to show?

I really don't want to reinstall everything.  I'm pretty sure that will 
fix it as I have installed kubuntu to a desktop pc and have the 
shutdown/reboot options.
