LIVE-cd hangs

Thx everybody for the help...
I've tried:
"live acpi=off"
"live noapic"
"live noapic acpi=off"
But nothing works.
The computer keeps on hanging after "Checking battery state... [ok]"


With a previous version, KUBUNTU 5.04 downloaded may 22th, the bootprocess
seems to work with "live noapic acpi=off".
(linux ubuntu 2.6.10-5-381 #1 Tue Apr 5 12:12:40 UTC 2005)
But then the network (internet) doesn't work.

Anyone an idea?

please boot with bootparameter: acpi=off
