<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">I filed <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1803866">https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1803866</a> re. my finding that upgrading from a minimal install option of Kubuntu 18.04 results in a "full" version of 18.10.</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div>Following the same procedure for Ubuntu 18.04 and Ubuntu Mate 18.04 works as expected.<br></div></div>
