Fwd: Removing amarok

Hello Kubuntu Devs,

To add to this discussion... when I install Kubuntu on friends' and
clients' machines, who are just average people wanting a stress-free
computing experience, I remove Amarok and put in something that feels more
intuitive to them.

Lately, I've been putting on Musique <http://flavio.tordini.org/musique>
(sadly it's Qt4), but more promisingly Yarock
<http://seb-apps.github.io/yarock/>, a Qt5 app that bills itself as a
"Modern and elegant linux music player", and everyone seems to "get it".
It's quite feature-full and looks good too.

My one regret is that it's not in Debian/Ubuntu's repos nor do I know who
to poke to get it added, as I think it'd be a great fit for Kubuntu until
the new KDE-specific music player comes of age. I add it via PPA's.
