Hi Valorie,

I just had a quick catch up with Gerry following his trip to Akademy.

I wanted to drop you a line and say hi as well.

I know that in the recent past you've had problems getting packages
uploaded and sponsored in to the archive, so I'd like to let you know
that if this happens again in the future, please don't hesitate to
drop me a line, or ping on IRC (willcooke on Freenode) and I'll be
very happy to get that seen to with urgency. We're acutely aware that
you've had these problems in the past, and I want to assure that the
desktop team are always on hand to help out.

Gerry also mentioned that there is a problem with spam to the
enterprise mailing list. I'm trying to find out who owns that now and
try to get it fixed.

Lastly, I'd like to put together an informal bi-weekly "flavours and
toolkits" meeting on IRC where we can all get together and raise any
issues we have (for example, packages needing sponsorship). If
there's nothing to talk about the meeting will be short, but it gives
us a platform to share with and learn from the other flavours. Would
you be interested in join us?

In the meantime, please let me know if you need a hand with anything
and I'll be happy to help.

Cheers, Will
