kubuntu.org and project participation

Thanks for all the answers, ill take a look at trello and hangout in
kubuntu-devel ASAP.

As a pre requisite, could anyone point out to me some documentation of the
workflow you guys follow for packaging. i always did most of my
contributions manually, just using debuild and ocasionally pbuild. What im
looking for is, "how the pros do it", so i can adapt more quickly to your
workflow.

for instance. im using wily and you guys want to package to xenial and then
backport to wily. no biggie for the arch/release since lp takes care of
that, but how do you do the initial work? using pbuilder locally and then
shipping the .source files to lp? using a remote build mechanism?

what is the the most efficient way? like i said, when i contributed i the
past, i did all of it locally, but for a big project has plasma 5.5, i dont
know if its the way to go. any feedback on this would be higly appreciated.

finally, is there any documentation on how to submit the final .sources? in
the past ridell just pulled stuff from my ppa once i told him it was ready,
are you guys still using the kubuntu-ninjas way of uploading stuff for
landing?

thanks for your patience.

best regards
